This article doesn't say so, but the dev team has also put a lot of effort into improving performance (particularly, improving loading times for reports.)

Freeze columns in a list table as you view a report, just like a spreadsheet.
The new Suggestions pane gives you suggested insights based on all your data
Giving report consumers the ability to make reports their own
As you make changes to your report in View Mode, SAS Visual Analytics remembers your choices

Is the Windows version limited to only Visual Analytics or will it be possible to run Visual Statistics and VDMML also on Windows environments?
