CAS Exception error ( (severity=2 reason=6 ) while building Network Analysis Object in SAS VA 8.3

Hello All,

I am building a Network Analysis Chart in SAS VA 8.3 and I am using a List control to filter the chart. The below error appears when report is refreshed or a filter is changed.

An error occurred. com.sas.cas.CASException: The Session is no longer active due to an unhandled exception. (severity=2 reason=6 StatusCode=2970028)

This problem does not occur constantly. This error disappears at some point of point, like when refreshed the report or again changed the filters.

Any advice on how to avoid this error would be helpful.

Hi,

This feels like a server side error in the query engine and could have one of many causes (data issue, formats, caching, configuration, etc.). It may best to open a SAS technical support track given these errors are usually well known and they will be able to help you quickly with recommendation how to resolve this. You may have to provide server side logs and query details.
