Unable to distribute report in SAS Visual Analytics 8.2

Hi,

I am unable to distribute report in SAS Visual Analytics 8.2. The job completed successfully but the report was not sent to the recipient.

From the log (see below), there seems to be an authorization issue. I have given the cas user sudo access but still encounter the same problem.

Ensure caller has sufficient authority to access specified CAS information. Perhaps caller needs superUser role.

com.sas.cas.CASException: Authorization (severity=2 reason=1 statusCode=5280249 NOT_AUTHORIZED)

5 ERROR: ReadInfo access denied for user sas.reportDistribution on caslib SAS9.4 Server.

5 ERROR: The action stopped due to errors.

Any pointer or advice on how to troubleshoot or resolve this issue will be very appreciated.

Yes suggest you talk to Tech Support but re:

5 ERROR: ReadInfo access denied for user sas.reportDistribution on caslib SAS9.4 Server.

SAS has internal users like this sas.reportDistribution which need authorisation to access both the data in the caslib and the reports themselves . If they dont' have access (perhaps as a result of your security setup) - then you will see this behaviour. The user that sends the distribution cant access the report/data therefore it can't send the distribution out.
