I am not familiar with the analyst tool, but I am familiar with PROC PRINQUAL. It is not exactly programming. In most cases, all you need is a PROC and a TRANSFORM (or its alias, VAR) statement.

Dear all,

I have some data for my Ph.D. project and there are qualitative variables in them. I recently came across the PROC PRINQUAL analysis that can perform PCA on qualitative data.

I am not proficient with programming so I use the Analyst tool on the SAS program. I would like to know if it is possible to use the Analyst for this PROC PRINCQUAL analysis.

Thank you in anticipation of your replies.
