Number formats in reports

Hi All,

This seems like it should be such a simple thing to do, but I it's giving me much trouble.

I want to use format one of my measures as negparen10.0 inside my report. I can apply the format to the dataset but when I load in the my report the number format changes. Is there a way to add formats to the reports?

Does the negparen10.0 format show in your data source pane for that measure? What type of report object are you trying to show the measure in?

In the Sample Data tab of the Data Source window I can see the numbers are formatted the way I want. When I add the data to the report the measure format changes to BEST10.(Numeric )
