Notification Panel in SAS Visual Analytics

Hi everyone,

I have found a notifications panel in my visual analytic hub home page. I am trying to find any information related to this notifications panel but have no luck with it. Can anyone tell me what is the usage of this notification panel? Thanks

It seems that this is not documented in the SAS(R) Visual Analytics 6.4: User's Guide (or even the 7.1 User's Guide) as you have discovered...

I'm assuming that the Notification section is associated with Alerts that have been set up for report objects and the subscription and notification settings with that alert, Alerts - SAS(R) Visual Analytics 6.4: User's Guide

If an alert is triggered and you are to be notified, this is where you can see and manage them.

Thanks Michelle, thank you for the reply.

I wanted to try a report with the alert, but the notification section is disappear after I relogin. So I have no chance to try it out.

Note that you will also need to ensure the server is configured too... This FAQ may assist - http://support.sas.com/kb/53/757.html

I'm not sure why the notification section disappeared... perhaps someone else may be able to share their thoughts.
