SAS VA: Decode XML On the FLY

Hello

I have a requirement wherein I have to display a link to a encoded XML (base64) but the business wants to view the decoded version of that XML. Is there a way by which I can parse/decode the xml on the fly?

The link is being displayed on the table object against a message.

Can stored process on VA help?

P.S : We are on version 7.3

Hello @samstheway79,

as long as you have a base64 encoder/decoder and a interface to send and receive parameters, you can do it.

Stored Process is a way, or Web Services are both an option.

e.g web service public - I would strongly recommend to create your own private web service, to not send sensible info across the internet.
