Talk to your IT-pros, as a start the user should be able to ping the server (if ping is allowed...)

I.e "PING schdev03"

Hi,

I have provided the SAS VA URL to the Client and provided him SAS Admin ID as he will be the admin for this project. But he is not able to Login from his desktop/lappy. It is showing an error 'This site cant be reached' 'schdev03's server IP address could not be found'.

What I should check so that he can open SAS VA from his desktop/lappy.

Thanks,

Pratik Tiwari

Seemes like he is on another network or behind a firewall or uses another DNS-server.

Check connectivity with your IT-pros, i'd say 🙂

The user is unable to ping that server. The output is 'Request Timed out'.

Then talk to your IT-pros and tell them that your user need to "see" the server 🙂

Should be something in the firewall, DNS-server or another network setup.

It has nothing to do with SAS, if the user can't even "see" the server from his computer.
