If this is a one time thing you may be able to copy the table to a spreadsheet, save that and read.

May.

If this to be repeated find a way for the source to be in an actual data interchange format.

I have a table in microsoft windows word (docx format) and I want to read it as a dataset using SAS Grid.

I know using x functions in normal SAS but I guess those will not work in SAS grid.

Please provide your suggestions with this.

Thanks,

Jayaprakash.

Unfortunately there isn't a method to read <STRIKE>text</STRIKE> word document files into SAS. If you have Text Miner you can extract the text but it won't be read in as data.
