Hi,

I recently downloaded SAS university edition.

I am unable to connect to localhost:10080.

I followed all the steps in instructions and also double checked for troubleshooting tips from here http://support.sas.com/kb/53/791.html

I am working on MAC OS High Sierra.

With Virtualbox version 5.2.22

After I start the VM and open a web browser, it just gives an error page which states The Connection was Reset - The connection to server was reset while page was loading.

Getting similar errors on Chrome, Firefox and Safari.

PS: I already tried everything in troubleshooting documentation like clear cache, check network, configs, etc.

I have also tried all solutions in similar discussions.

I would appreciate any help in this matter.

Thank you,

Mingjing

So you've restarted the VM and ORacle virtual box, can see the black screen with the address and still cannot connect? IME VMWare is more stable, so if you can afford that or have access I would recommend it instead of VirtualBox.
