Hi:
You indicate that you are using a Textbook. What textbook are you using? Is it showing SAS Studio tasks or is the textbook showing SAS code?

You have questions that are related to understanding how SAS Statistical Analysis and Forecasting procedures work.

If you are using a Textbook that shows the SAS code you would need to write or the code that your task would generate, you might want to look the procedure up in the documentation or consider posting a more specific question on the Statistical Procedures Forum: https://communities.sas.com/t5/SAS-Statistical-Procedures/bd-p/statistical_procedures where more statistically oriented users might have seen your textbook or used your procedure.

Cynthia

By tasks and utility menu in SAS studio, I can not design the following task and can not understand the output results:

1) statistical process control--control chart;

2)Forecasting--how to design the moving average, simple exponential.

Even showing the output data, I can not understand. It seems not the same as shown in the textbook.
