Hey Linus, Thanks for our advice.

The problem was the user missed out one semicolon on one of the lines in autoexec which throwing exception which caused the issues.

After semicolon the issue was fixed.

Hi All,

One of our SAS user is facing a strange problem. He opens DI Studio and tries to run a job and this fails giving error "Not positioned on a valid row"

I also tried executing simply proc setinit; run; and this also resulted the same error.

Not sure where what went wrong.

Request if someone can advice on this.

Possibly this problem - what SAS version and maintenance level are you using?

SInce this happens when submitting code maybe the usage note is not spot on.
Is this the only user that experience this?
Can he open data sets?
Pehaps checking the object spawner log and the local singles studio log might give some clues.
Also a reinstall is a quite easy task the might be worth trying.
