    <description>&lt;P&gt;I need to mount a certain folder located on a&amp;nbsp;windows share folder on my Home Folder on SAS Studio using a %sysexec or call system command.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I tried using this one but it says&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;ERROR: Shell escape is not valid in this SAS session.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;PRE&gt;data _null_;&lt;BR /&gt;call system ('mount -t cifs &amp;lt;folder to mount&amp;gt; &amp;lt;mount location&amp;gt; -o username=user,password=pwd');&lt;BR /&gt;run;&lt;/PRE&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;There are two possibilities here:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;1. You're running in SAS University Edition in which case you can't mount a folder like that; or&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;2. The noxcmd option is set on your system (possibly by an administrator&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="http://support.sas.com/documentation/cdl/en/hostwin/69955/HTML/default/viewer.htm#p0xtd57b40ehdfn1jyk8yxemfrtv.htm" target="_blank"&gt;http://support.sas.com/documentation/cdl/en/hostwin/69955/HTML/default/viewer.htm#p0xtd57b40ehdfn1jyk8yxemfrtv.htm&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If it's 2 above you may need to get your system administrator to fix it.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;3. you might need to have superuser/administrator rights to use&amp;nbsp;mount on the UNIX system, or a sudo enabled for it.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
