Use the Servers Files and Folders pane to find the folder. Right click it, select properties. Make sure to take that path as the path for your library.

Hi,

So I was doing hw assigned from my SAS professor, but for some reason I cannot assign orion, and I am not sure if it is my syntax or if I am not getting something.

So, I downloaded the PRG1 file which is a list of files similar to the ecrpg123.. file that SAS self learners download for this step, I share it with my virtual machine. I can see the file under myfolders in the SAS interface. so when I go to assign my library, I used,

libname orion '/folders/myfolders/PRG1' access = readonly;

and I continually get the response of "Library orion does not exist."

Any tips on how I can get this code running?

Thanks

Right, i made sure to do that, sorry i forgot to mention that, and the file path given was '/folders/myfolders/PRG1'

As a possible source of error, whenever I click on PRG1, should I be able to see all the files listed in it? or is that only available once it is assigned to a library? Because when i double click on PRG1 within the SAS studio interface, it says the selected file does not exist; however, I shared my files properly, because every file saved in myfolders in my mac shows up in the SAS myfolders.

Thanks for helping me out!

If you did the latest upgrade, you need to roll back your version of Oracle VirtualBox.

You should see your files in the Servers Files and Folders always, but not in the library until it's successfully assigned.

And the library only shows sas7bdat files.
