Are you using SAS University Edition, perhaps? I don't believe that PROC QLIM is one of the supported SAS/ETS procedures of that software.

Alternatively, if you're using a normal version of SAS Studio not requiring the virtual console; are you certain your license has SAS/ETS available? If you aren't sure, you can run the following code and check the log output to see what products are listed:

PROC SETINIT;
RUN;

I downloaded the most recent SAS Studio and am trying to use Proc qlim, but I get the error message, "Proc Qlim not found." I have used the procedure many times before and never had a problem, I think I'm doing it right and have never gotten this before. Can anyone help?

Thank you very much, I am using University edition. Proc Qlim used to be available in that, I will do the check you suggested to see if they have taken it away.

Hi Gina,

I also have no qlim available (I am using the university edition - SAS 9.4 TS1M5) after a recent upgrade. I also lost my ability to use IML when using some experimental design macros. I ran the setinit command and it shows that I have ETS and IML (see below). How can I fix this?

Original site validation data
Current version: 9.04.01M5P091317
Site name: 'UNIVERSITY OF MAINE - T&R SFA'.
Site number: 70152641.
Expiration: 30OCT2018.
Grace Period: 45 days (ending 14DEC2018).
Warning Period: 46 days (ending 29JAN2019).
System birthday: 06OCT2017.
Operating System: WX64_WKS.
Product expiration dates:
---Base SAS Software
30OCT2018
---SAS/STAT
30OCT2018
---SAS/GRAPH
30OCT2018
---SAS/ETS
30OCT2018
---SAS/FSP
30OCT2018
---SAS/OR
30OCT2018
---SAS/AF
30OCT2018
---SAS/IML
30OCT2018
---SAS/QC
30OCT2018
---SAS/SHARE
30OCT2018
---SAS/ASSIST
30OCT2018
---SAS/CONNECT
30OCT2018
---SAS/EIS
30OCT2018
---SAS/SHARE*NET
30OCT2018
---MDDB Server common products
30OCT2018
---SAS Integration Technologies
30OCT2018
---SAS/Secure 168-bit
30OCT2018
---SAS/Secure Windows
30OCT2018
---SAS Enterprise Guide
30OCT2018
---SAS Bridge for ESRI
30OCT2018
---OR OPT
30OCT2018
---OR PRS
30OCT2018
---OR IVS
30OCT2018
---OR LSO
30OCT2018
---SAS/ACCESS Interface to DB2
30OCT2018
---SAS/ACCESS Interface to Oracle
30OCT2018
---SAS/ACCESS Interface to SAP ASE
30OCT2018
---SAS/ACCESS Interface to PC Files
30OCT2018
---SAS/ACCESS Interface to ODBC
30OCT2018
---SAS/ACCESS Interface to OLE DB
30OCT2018
---SAS/ACCESS Interface to Teradata
30OCT2018
---SAS/ACCESS Interface to Microsoft SQL Server
30OCT2018
---SAS/ACCESS Interface to MySQL
30OCT2018
---SAS/IML Studio
30OCT2018
---SAS Workspace Server for Local Access
30OCT2018
---SAS/ACCESS Interface to Netezza
30OCT2018
---SAS/ACCESS Interface to Aster nCluster
30OCT2018
---SAS/ACCESS Interface to Greenplum
30OCT2018
---SAS/ACCESS Interface to SAP IQ
30OCT2018
---SAS/ACCESS to Hadoop
30OCT2018
---SAS/ACCESS to Vertica
30OCT2018
---SAS/ACCESS to Postgres
30OCT2018
---SAS/ACCESS to Impala
30OCT2018
---SAS/ACCESS to HAWQ
30OCT2018
---High Performance Suite
30OCT2018
---SAS/ACCESS to SAP HANA
30OCT2018
---SAS/ACCESS Interface to the PI System
30OCT2018
