      <description>&lt;P&gt;Yes, you can use PROC EXPORT in SAS University Edition.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The 'free' edition is limited to non-commercial usage, so you can use it for learning. The majority of Base SAS functionality is available.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Some limitations are:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;1. No SAS/GRAPH - just use SG procedures or GTL instead, so not a huge loss.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;2. SAS/ETS - many of the time series procedures are not included.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;3. No connection to databases - you can get around this one if you really want to, but that's your choice and work.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;4. Inability to&amp;nbsp;connect to secure HTTPS&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;5. No connection to R&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;6. You can use system commands - no X or SYSEXEC&lt;/P&gt;
