Can someone please guide me on how to run a completely random block design in sas studio. Thanks, I'm new to this program. Diana M

I suggest that you search through the archives of Rick's DO Loop blog for some key words that describe what you're looking for. Plenty of topics -- with code -- on simulation, design of experiments, and more.

Are you trying to analyze data that was from a random block design or come up with a design matrix?

Either way way you'll probably need to provide some more information.

PROC MIXED is the procedure you need.

http://support.sas.com/publishing/pubcat/chaps/55235.pdf

Heres a link to the docs for PROC MIXED.

http://documentation.sas.com/?docsetId=statug&docsetVersion=14.2&docsetTarget=statug_mixed_overview.htm&locale=en

I have data from an experiment in the field and I want to analyze them in blocks completely at random, but I do not know how to do it from sas studio (sas university). Thanks for the information, I am attentive

The first link walks you through the analysis.

You can use the same method in SAS UE as in Base or EG.
