Hi,

I recently logged into SAS and found that all of my files were gone. I stupidly had not downloaded them onto my computer. Is there any way to retrieve lost fiels? Are all files somehow deleted after a certain amount of time? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

So you are using SAS STUDIO with WIN-8.

Is it SAS University Edition? - If not - do you have access to your SAS server ? WEB server ?

Talking about lost files - do you mean programs ? sas datasets ? flat_files ? all kinds ?

Do you have your input files in case you need recreate your sas datasets ?

Hi Shmuel,

I'm using SAS Studio, University Edition online. My computer is a Mac, operating OS X. I saved my datasets online, under my user name, as sas files. I still have the original datasets in Excel, but all of the coding was of course in the SAS files, which just disappeared from one day to the next. I wonder how this could be, or if there is any back-up that may exist of them somewhere? Thanks for any help!

Ivan
