I'm also using the 3.81 Single User release. My coworker showed me using the 'New Folder Shortcut' function. The 'Browse' button won't bring up the network drive. Have to type in the path. It worked. Also, once I mapped the network drive, it'll also show up as you indicated. Thank you!

Hi,

I have SAS installed on my local machine. Our license includes all three interfaces: SAS EG, SAS 9.4, and SAS Studio. I prefer to use SAS Studio. However, I can't see the programs on the network drive, only those in OneDrive and C: when using SAS Studio. I can see network folders using EG or 9.4. How to I see files on the network drives from within SAS Studio?

Thank you in advance!

Anne

If you can see the C: drive and OneDrive (I assume this means local files sync'd from OneDrive to local), then I assume are using SAS Studio "Basic" -- the local install of SAS Studio. (SAS Studio on a central server wouldn't show your local files.) In my case, the ?->About menu shows "Release: 3.81 (Single User)".

Are your network folders available via a mapped drive? If not, is it possible to map a drive to these paths? Use a command like "net use U: \\myserver\myfolder\myfiles" in a command shell and then start SAS Studio.

I have a U: drive mapped (U->short for "unix" to get to my Unix home folder):
