      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am exporting an data to a notepad and its size is 414948 KB..When I tried to open that file am getting an error message &lt;STRONG&gt;“file is too large for notepad use another editor”.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is there any way to split a data to two different file by using proc export?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please let me know.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

Is the Windows program?&amp;nbsp; If so then try using WORDPAD instead.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you do want to use PROC EXPORT to create two or more files look into the dataset options FIRSTOBS and OBS.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;proc export data=have(obs=10000) .... ;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;proc export data=have(firstobs=10001) .... ;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
