      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,I reset my computer and reinstalled SAS. I imported data (excel) which was .xlsx. I followed the steps but it turned out to be error. I am using&amp;nbsp;SAS Enterprise Guide 7.1 for analyse surveys(the excel) which was able to be imported before the computer was reset. Can anyone help me? I use it for educational purposes. Thank you.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I screen captured the sign below along with my data set:&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Define "reset". A simple reboot won't cause such behavior (usually, after all this is Windows).&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;How do you run SAS from EG? Local or remote server?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Reading the message in your Doc1.docx it seems to me that may be you forgot to assign some options&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;while reinstalling sas. Check your sas configuration file for ENCODING &amp;amp; LOCALE options. You may need&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;to adapt their values.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
