Hi glmer,

No, PROC UNIVARIATE does not support negative binomial distribution directly. It does support gamma, and you can go from there since all distributions are interrelated:
hi,
i am trying to fit negative binomial , gamma and poisson distributions over a histogram to see which one is the best fit...however i am facing problems with the negative binomial distribution. does proc univariate support negative binomial or is there any other procedure i could use?
