Without learning the meaning of all variables and, specifically, the outcome, the interpretation is not universal. Say your outcome is Height. The intercept will be around 6 feet for men and the impact of variables will be measured in inches or 1/12 of a foot. Relative sizes of standardized model coefficients are not a good way to estimate model fit.

Please view the following page, at the very bottom:

http://support.sas.com/documentation/cdl/en/statug/68162/HTML/default/viewer.htm#statug_glmselect_examples01.htm

Attached is a screenshot of the relevant section.

I'm trying to interpret this. Seems to me that the 'model' presented is not so good. These are standardized coefficients. The largest, by far, is the Intercept. All the rest are relatively very small.

Would you interpret the results this way? What am I missing?

Thanks!
