      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi, I'm doing logisitic regression analyses for men and women separately to see how gender makes a difference. I think BY and STRATA statements both can make it work. However, I am curious what the difference would be using these two statements?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;In this case, as in any analysis situation, if you want to do separate analysis based on the distinct values of a&amp;nbsp;categorical&amp;nbsp;variable (in this case gender), use the BY statement.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
