Also, perhaps it isn't necessary to run the PROC FCMP on the GRID, just provide the created function to the other Grid processes...?

Hello,

When running proc fcmp on Unix grid I receive the below warning:

"The filename "work.funcs.test" has too many levels, only the first 2 levels will be used"

work.funcs.test is used in outlib and in options cmplib

The warning is not produced if the same proc fcmp is run on Windows server.

The results creted by the function are right and not impacted by this warning.

The code is running in SAS 9.2 Base.

Would anybody knows what changes I need to stop receving this warning.

Thank you,

Hello,

Thank you for your answer.

Unfortunately I can not send the full log file.

The proc fcmp used is the one presented in the link below:

http://blogs.sas.com/content/sasdummy/2011/05/09/calculating-the-number-of-working-days-between-two-dates/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+ASasBlogForTheRestOfUs+%28The+SAS+Dummy%29

I have run the proc fcmp on GRID because the function is later in the process. If I don't run the proc fcmp on grid the code would return an error. Would it be possible to explain more on your sugestion to not run thr fcmp on GRID but just provide the function to the othe GRID processes?

Thank you,

Store the function in a permanent SAS library that is accessible from the grid by the user that should be able to access it.
