      <description>&lt;P&gt;In addition to TYPE=SP, some people use a radial smoother for analyzing spatial data. The option is TYPE=RSMOOTH. The radial smoother supports KNOTMETHOD=KDTREE(NEAREST), which is essentially a nearest neighbor approach.
