    <description>&lt;P&gt;This seems hokey, and there is probably a more elegant method out there, but you might be able to use R as a translator of sorts. Here are some links that I pulled up.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Import into R as .netcdf:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://disc.sci.gsfc.nasa.gov/recipes/?q=recipes/How-to-Read-Data-in-netCDF-Format-with-R" target="_blank"&gt;http://disc.sci.gsfc.nasa.gov/recipes/?q=recipes/How-to-Read-Data-in-netCDF-Format-with-R&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Export from R into .sas7bdat:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://stackoverflow.com/questions/5476826/can-anyone-help-me-write-a-r-data-frame-as-a-sas-data-set" target="_blank"&gt;http://stackoverflow.com/questions/5476826/can-anyone-help-me-write-a-r-data-frame-as-a-sas-data-set&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Probably easiest to convert to csv and import from there.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
