topic SAS CART analysis in SAS Procedures

I am new to decision trees and I want SAS to produce a decision tree from a data set with one dependent, binary variable (disease 0/1) and several independent, continuous variables (usually I would run logistic regression for this). The tree would then "decide" which variables are important risk factors for the disease. Any help/tips are appreciated-- I also do not have access to SAS enterprise miner!

CART aren't supported outside of SAS EM beyond some user written macros.

Check if you have access to proc HPSPLIT. I believe it was introduced in SAS/STAT 12.3
