    <description>&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class="sasSource"&gt;&amp;nbsp;libname my_data 'C:/practice/myfolders';&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class="sasNote"&gt;&amp;nbsp;run;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class="sasSource"&gt;&amp;nbsp;which gives an error massage, but when i checked the share folder the assigned lib folder is there &amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;here is the massage&amp;nbsp;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class="sasSource"&gt;&amp;nbsp;libname my_data 'C:/practice/myfolders';&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class="sasNote"&gt;NOTE: Library MY_DATA does not exist.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class="sasSource"&gt;run;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class="sasSource"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;"myfolders" lets me guess you are using SAS University Edition. Follow the instructions for setting up the shared location when installing the VM image and how to specify the path in the Linux VM that runs SAS UE.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>Assuming you are on SAS UE and have set up the shared folders properly the path should be:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;libname my_data '/folders/myfolders';&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If not please refer to this post, specifically Cynthia Zender's answer.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="https://communities.sas.com/t5/SAS-Analytics-U/how-to-use-own-data-in-SAS-university-edition/m-p/174456/highlight/true#M1035" target="_blank"&gt;https://communities.sas.com/t5/SAS-Analytics-U/how-to-use-own-data-in-SAS-university-edition/m-p/174456/highlight/true#M1035&lt;/A&gt;</description>
