      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;You can read more about multilingual support in the documentation.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A class="active_link" href="http://support.sas.com/documentation/cdl/en/nlsref/61893/HTML/default/viewer.htm#ov-nls.htm"&gt;http://support.sas.com/documentation/cdl/en/nlsref/61893/HTML/default/viewer.htm#ov-nls.htm&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The only hope would be to set the option VALIDVARNAME=ANY and specify the name as a name literal in the form of a quoted name followed immediately by the letter n.&amp;nbsp; For example:&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; 'sex'n&amp;nbsp; 'normally invalid name'n &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;That said perhaps you might have an easier time changing the LABEL of the variable instead of the name?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
