      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;the variables in and out are created newly based on some condition..&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;why do we have to set these to missing&amp;nbsp; &lt;STRONG&gt;in=.; out=.;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Doesn't sas do that automatically?????&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
