hi all,

I have some PROC IMPORT code which reads an Excel spreadsheet; The spreadsheet has a column which has more than 255 characters; When run interactively program never issued error; When run in batch, program was running file until yesterday, and today issued this error:

ERROR: Read Access Violation In Task ( SQL ]

I found this on Tech support

http://support.sas.com/kb/12/665.html

and it states this bug has been fixed in 9;

I am using SAS 9.1.3 on Windows;

Is it possible that error could be because of some other reason?..or was the bug fixed in 9.2 and not in 9.1.3?

thanks,
