We are on 9.1 ship event 37 which is supposed to support MS Office 2007.
We are finding that we still need to save the Excel files as either .xls or as CSV (comma separated value) files in order to import them properly into Enterprise Guide.
Is this the experience of others as well?

Check out the SAS support website http://support.sas.com/ - also:

SAS 9.2 DOC on the topic:
And, from the forum archives, a prior post on Excel 2007 / Office 2007 (not really Windows 2007):
Is there something special I have to do? a add-in?
I hope someone who has experienced this, could be able to help me.
Thanks
Just re-save your xlsx file as xls (an option within the save command). SAS 9.1 will then recognize the file.
