As I understand it SAS code doesn't change radically between releases.
This book has an '01 copywright. Not sure why it says '09.
I am currently taking an Intro to Categorical Data Analysis Class. Tried to find a more updated book but couldn't find one that specifically dealt with Categorical Data Analysis.

It's a good book. A little dated, but the basics haven't changed. What is in there is not wrong nor obsolete. The main thing that I find that is missing are the new statistical graphics that come with LOGISTIC now; I'd love to be able to give my students something with more meat than the help page.

The authors know their statistics and SAS.
