Hi:
I suggest you search the SAS support site and the documentation for "What's New". In every release of SAS, there is a section in the documentation about what the new features are. Since there are so many components to SAS, and since the what's new features are already documented, it would be redundant and incomplete to even attempt to list them here.

http://support.sas.com/documentation/cdl/en/whatsnew/61982/HTML/default/procwhatsnew902.htm
http://support.sas.com/documentation/whatsnew/

The current (shipping) release of SAS is SAS 9.2; however, many sites are still running SAS 9.1.3 and are in the process of planning their upgrade to SAS 9.2. There are also some sites that are still running SAS 8.2.
