check under "computational resources" in the PHREG documentation. You probably need more memory to get it to run faster.

I am trying to use the assess statement in proc phreg to test for proportionality. When I use the example program provided by SAS, it works and show me the result fast. But when I work only own data, which is much larger than the example dataset, it took very long time (hours) to show me the result. Anybody know what is wrong with it?
