SAS temp directory and backups

I am very new to SAS and have a question regarding backups of SAS. The question is two-fold:

1) Is the \SAS9_System\SAS9_Temp\ directory as standard or default SAS directory?

2) If it is, can it be excluded like one would exlude the C:\temp directory? In other words, would there be any critical data in the SAS9_Temp directory that would be needed for restoring the environment?

Below are the open files I am unable to backup.

This seems to be the directory/-ies of SASWORK.
There is no need to backup these.
