      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If I wanted to check in a proc sql for a null date values and convert to a furture date if null and then compare that date using current date, can't I use nvl function? &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It's throwing an error. Please help.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;For example, I may have null date value in a date field and when I wanted to compare this null date value after converting to a furture date agains current date ....&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;thanks!! &lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
