topic proc report with empty dataset in SAS Procedures

I'm using proc report with a 'where' statement to subset the observations. Sometime the condition will return no obs. I wonder if it is possible that I can still have my report's titles and footnotes, with a customary line saying "there is no such record" printed. I'm doing several reports based on the same dataset and with different 'where' conditions. I'm trying to avoid creating a lot of datasets before I do the report.

Thanks.

There's a SAS Global Forum at this link http://support.sas.com/resources/papers/proceedings13/320-2013.pdf which gives you a number of options.

It's probably better not to resurrect an eight year old thread though, that sort of thing can annoy people. It's would be better to raise a new question next time.
