topic The internal source spool file has been truncated error. What does it mean? in SAS Procedures

I'm running a programme written by someone who has now left the company and when I run it I receive the following error.

The internal source spool file has been truncated. Error logging with line and column information may be incomplete until next step boundary.

YHQSRC/XZPWRIT failure

I'm not sure if this means there is an issue with the code or the data as it's not an error I've seen before.

Can anyone shed some light on this for me.

Thanks,
