In Windows XP, you can do it from the Windows Explorer. select tools --> folder options --> file types and then the extension that you want to clean up. You can also select the default action you want.

How to clean SAS context menu?

Hi,
With SAS installation, many items are added in context menu (right mouce click on .sas file), e.g. Batch Submit, Open with SAS, submit with SAS, and etc. Frankly, they look like mess.

I tried the new tool "Manage SAS File Types" in SAS 9.2 License Renewal & Utilities but failed to clean them.

Any comment will be appreciated.

I don't have 9.2 but for 9.1 the items are located in the winders registry at

[pre]
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\SAS.Program.701\shell
