topic Re: OBFOOTN in the Document procedure vs. FOOTNOTE in SAS Procedures

One additional detail - if I'm only printing one table, I can use the /ACTIVEFOOTN option to set my footnote globally, but that's not what I am referring to in this particular question.

Another approach is to use the nocenter option, but again, what I am after is the ability to put formatting commands in my OBFOOTN statement.

Added some more detail to preclude certain workarounds being counted as 'the answer'.

With footnotes, I can include some formatting commands like

FOOTNOTE J=L H=1 "I LOVE SAS";

However, the OBFOOTN command in the DOCUMENT procedure (as of 9.1.3 at least) requires that the argument after the path be a quoted string. Anyway I can make my OBFOOTN be left justified?

OBFOOTN ONEWAYFREQS#1 "I STILL LOVE SAS ANYWAY";
