topic ORACLE Error in SAS Procedures

All
We recently upgraded from Oracle 8 to 10g. During a very large production run we know get the following error while reading in an Oracle trable via the libname statement. The error does not occur all the time but once it does, SAS looses its connection and the libname statement needs to be resubmitted.

ERROR: Error fetching from cursor. ORACLE error is ORA-03113: end-of-file on communication channel.

Does any one have any idea how to resolve this?

Thanks

Recommend you search the SAS support website http://support.sas.com/ using your error message as keywords in your search. I found several SAS tech notes with symptom "error fetching from cursor". The problem could be SAS version-specific, as well.
