When you write your funtion, you will need to use the&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;RETURN statement&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;IF-THEN/ELSE statement&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;DET function, and&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;INV function&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;BTW, your logic is backwards: if the determinant is NOT zero, you can compute the inverse.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
