See a previous article on Forest Plots that sizes the marker based on weight.

http://blogs.sas.com/content/graphicallyspeaking/2012/02/01/forest-plot-using-sgplot-procedure/

The associated code uses two HighLow plots to draw the error bars and the markers. Prashant has pointed out an issue with the computation of the Q1, Q3 values, but other than that, this idea should work.

Hi

I have been using the excellent post by Sanjay to create Forest plots with SAS:

http://blogs.sas.com/content/graphicallyspeaking/2013/01/06/forest-plot-with-sas-9-3/#comment-15665

However, I wonder if it is possible to improve this further, can anyone please suggest a way to make the size of the square in the middle of the lines proportional to the subgroup?

Best regards
