topic Extract text from a graph stored in a sas catalog / output graph to a text-type file in Graphics Programming

Hi,

I have not much experience with graphs and I need to extract some text (footnotes) from graphs that are stored in a sas catalog.

I think the best way to do this might be to output the graph to a text file. Even if there are a lot of strange characters produced, I'm hoping that the text part will remain intact. Does anyone know how to output a graph stored in a catalog to a text type file?

Any other advice or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks very much in advance,

John
