topic Shortcut Icon in SAS Enterprise Guide

Is it possible to create a shortcut icon to run a series of SAS programs within a project? I would like it execute just from double-clicking the icon. For me I do not have an option to right click and select batch submit. Currently, I am running Enterprise Guide 4.2.

Thanks,
If you can export those programs to a folder addressible by the SAS server, then it should be feasible to create an icon to launch them.
It is obviously easier if the server is your desktop than a remote server, but there are many alternatives
- like a service on the server waiting for "jobs to do" in that folder
- the service could be a permanent job, checking the folder at regular intervals.

One question is how you want to manage security if the programs do not run under your account on your desktop. In which account should the programs be executed on the server? If not the account of the "service", how would you indicate the appropriate user account to use? One solution would be that only one user has write privilege on that/each folder being watched by the server.

sorry - this sounds like more questions than answers...
Thanks Peter for your reply. Looks like there are issues to consider.
