topic Prompts causing errors after migrating from EG 4.1 to 4.3 in SAS Enterprise Guide

We have recently migrated from EG 4.1 to 4.3. I have a query set up which prompts for both the time period (example format = April_11) and a scenario (example format = Plan). Whenever I attempt to run the query in 4.3, the prompt entry box will come up and allow me to enter my selections. However, the query fails and tells me I have syntax errors. I also see the following error message in the log file...

ERROR: The following columns were not found in the contributing tables: April_11, Calculation1, Calculation2, Calculation3, ROA.

Is this a migration issue? Or do prompts work differently in 4.3 than in 4.1 to where the queries will need to be re-written?

Any help is much appreciated!

Thanks!

It's very hard to tell with this amount of information. In future, it will make it easier to diagnose these if you post the log as well.

My feeling is that you didn't use the "Enclose value in quotes" option, so SAS is picking up one of your selection constants as a variable.
