topic How to find frequency of use SAS EG server. in SAS Enterprise Guide

Hi All,

recently we installed SAS EG/EM (Unix Box). Both reside on a server for our use. While it is being used daily within our group, there are questions about the frequency of use outside of our group. Is there a way to monitor the who is using SAS EG, the frequency, and the extent of use.

Thanks
Enterprise Guide just runs as a client on the PC and uses SAS as a server. Enterprise Miner has both a PC component and a specific module on the server.

If you are talking about the server alone, then it is easy enough for your Unix admin to capture who read which files in the SAS directories. Alternatively, you could have him or her modify the SAS script on Unix to capture the user name.
