    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;I tried to open a file named *.sas7bvew using EG.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The file was created on SunOS, but when I open it in EG, it is garbage....&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;There are import options, that don't seem to do anything....&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I tried open-&amp;gt;data,&amp;nbsp; import... Same thing..&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any help appreciated!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;jim&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;That externsion if for a view.&amp;nbsp; I do not think that views are portable across platforms.&amp;nbsp; EG would need to download the data from the view to SAS dataset (or other format) to be able to read it natively as EG is NOT SAS.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
